OK, for no other reason than it's so slow here, I have an update on the new 540. If anyone gives a hoot.

SOLD: block, heads (complete), exhaust headers w/ mufflers.

Bought: block, heads (dart), crank, rods, pistons etc. Also, new set of Bassett blower headers w/ bolt on mufflers. Basically all the parts to put it together.

A bunch of stuff is off for chrome or polish. Ie, foot pedal: chorme. Heads: polish.

1071 Littlefield blower is back from being freshened.

When we start building the motor I will try to post pics on THB.

Shooting for dyno session March 1.

That is cool.  I want to hear you are putting a pop-off on that beast.

It's something I'm looking at. Requires fiberglass work and removal of the red shroud. From the videos I've seen it still doesn't guarantee you won't get pitched out on a motor failure.
