The seats are good and all but you better get that motor right or my big Ford will be smokin you next summer.... Oh, the boats.. You'll be way faster than me. I was talking about my Super Duty tow truck.. LOL

What's a reasonable price to pay for getting seats recovered if I provide new marine vinyl and wood, reusing the foam? We're talking one bench back seat, two buckets up from, a pair of battery box covers that are about 14 x 20 inches, two ineer side rails that are about four feet by four inches and a dash cover that 18 x 4 inches. Similar to the style it's in now, but with white with aqua blue stripes and piping.

IDK what someone else would charge. I can tell you that Browns Boats wanted 4000 to do mine. I'd bet they would say 1500-2000 for yours. Yours looks real easy compared to mine. I could make the seat covers, but you would have to pull the covers off first, and then reinstall the new ones. Another option to consider is Jassons dad. I hear he does awesome work, and I already told him he could use my machine.

Jasson, I really appreciate the offer. I'm going to try it first. I've made it this far without screwing up yet.  I'd like to be able to say I done it myself you know?  If I start messing up or get to a point where I need it, I'll take pops up then. Thanks again!

I was kinda wondering what a shop would charge. I may take it by the auto upholstry shop here in Rowlett for a quote. Gonna have to wait a couple of weeks though. Jason's dad may be an option too if I take off the covers and have them remade, then reassemble everything myself.

Just so there's no confusion, I wasn't saying I would charge 1500. I was saying that's my guess what an upholstery shop will say.

James if you pulled the seats down and saved the pattern and bought the material My Dad would do it.  I has made many saddles and all kinds of other stuff.      Chad I understand totally what you are saying just let me know if you get to a stuck point.  LOOKS GOOD keeps pic coming

Ok more progress. All new wood cut, sanded and sealed. The 3 front seat bottoms here are foamed, stapled and ready to go.

You mean like undo all the staples and just bring in the old vinyl with enough new vinyl to reproduce the pieces? I could do that. Stapling everything back on won't be a problem, either will making new wood pieces. The vinyl is all I can't do. Well, I could but it would look like crap. Here's a detailed list of all vinyl parts.

The rear bench seat has a bottom and wrap around back and front two buckets that have separate bottom cushions will be done in white with aqua stripes and piping.

The pair of battery box covers that are about 14 x 22 inches will be all aqua with aqua piping.

The two inner padded side rails that are about four feet by four inches and a dash cover that 22 x 4 inches have no piping and will be solid aqua. In fact, there is no sewing on those so no worries there.

Chad, those pieces look pro man. VERY impressive.

Ok a little closer to being done. These were kinda of a pain the ass. I think they turned out pretty good. Here are the rear seat bottoms ready for butts.

Jasson I got some at Sunbelt in Dallas some from rochford supply and some from diy upholstery. Those last 2 are mail order. Here goes the hardest part.

Going to refoam the whole thing.

The old seat backs with new bottoms.
