they never mad a v6 turbo camaro, only the brnd nationals and indy pace car firebirds, but the 3.1l is the bigger of the two available v6 of the time, 2.8 was the other, and its easy to drop a 350 in it.

That is why I asked about the turbo.  Thought it may have been an engine swap from a GN or turbo TA but even those are not 331 Cu In are they?

That would be a cool combo if it was a turbo V6.  I always loved that body style Camaro, especially the IROC Z's

It would be a great candidate for a turbo LS conversion  :smile30: I wouldn't give him my boat for it though  .

that's okay he is looking for a water proven boat, yours doesnt count! unless you call proving it getting the wife to spray the water hose at the boat while you sit in the drivers seat and make engine noises! clap.gif clap.gif clap.gif

Not to be a jerk at all...but two things.

1) That isn't a 93. Could only be a 92 at the latest. 93 was the first year of the 4th gen Camaro

2) How is that a 331 ci V6? That would be 5.4 liters... Maybe you mean a 3.1L? You say it's the same as the GN engine; but that is a 231 ci/3.8L engine and wasn't available in an F-body until 1995.

it has a gn engine installed in it, if you want to know more about the car call the number, and i guess he is wrong on the year it must be a 1992. not that i know much about camaros cause they all suck, especially trans ams

Agreed. Trans Am's are one of the most over rated trim lines out there. Formula FTW!

So...this car has an LC2 in it?

Well if it is truly a GNX motor in it, it could be fun! :smile16: I'll stick with my 5.0l! :smile30:

Probably a 231 (3.8) not a 331. But if it's a G/N motor without the turbo it would run like a dog. A N/A 3.8 Regal V6 would do better. Don't know why this car would have any value. You can get real nice 3rd gen Camaro's with v8's all day long for $3k
