He doesn't. Has one at his finger tips though. When he feels the need for speed

Close enough . It's in his garage and he has the keys , just not the payments  :smile30:

Probably a 231 (3.8) not a 331. But if it's a G/N motor without the turbo it would run like a dog. A N/A 3.8 Regal V6 would do better. Don't know why this car would have any value. You can get real nice 3rd gen Camaro's with v8's all day long for $3k

I texted the owner. He says it's a 93 with a 331 V6. I asked if it was an LC2 and he said he doesn't know what an LC2 is...so I'd doubt it's a turbo buick engine.

As for the bike running the car; does that apply to me also? I might have to take you up on that if I ever get back to Texas.

Then I doubt he has a clue at all about his car. 1993 is a fourth gen and there is no such thing as a 331 cid V6 unless you are talking diesels.

You want speed (on land) get a bike.

i'll line up next to ya  bring your  bike over

I had the original '84 900 Ninja back in the day. One day I'm on my way to work when a Vette rolls up next to me with two little air cleaners poking through the hood. I followed him to the expressway on ramp and he hit it. Just as I would start catching up he would shift, get a little clutch dust from under the car, then gone again. I was at about 140 till I finally ran his down. The only time my bike got walked out on in a street race by a car. Point is, it can happen. Cars are a lot quicker now and the bikes just have more top end. A motorcycle magazine took the 84 Ninja to a 10.5 1/4 mile 28 years ago! The current 1400 Ninja ran a 10.05 tested by Motorcycle USA magazine. EFI and 540 CC's more for half a second gain in 28 years!! Top end is another story on the bikes.

A stock Camaro, Vette or Shelby Stang with a good tune will give any bike out there run for their money now. That 10.05 was with a pro rider. Here's a 2012 ZL1 Camaro with some head work and pulley burning off a 9....

Well, with the Camaro in this thread. The gridded tail lights, rear spoiler and 3rd brake light under the glass make it a 91 or 92 ONLY! If the wheels on it are the ones that came with it, it's a 91.

EDIT" Scratch the wheel deal. V6 RS's can have those wheels too in 92.

All the ground effects in general make your statement true as well.

Also, FWIW - my bike ran 10.42 stock with me on it, 9.96 with a good rider; 8.89 with me, and 8.69 with a good rider when it was "highly" modified; and runs 9.82 with me, and 9.54 with a good rider as it is now...from a dig on the street, I'm still not "there"; but from a roll...much fun.

The only kinda jet boat he could trade this car for would be a Chrysler.
No self respecting Chrysler guy would take a Slomaro in trade for his Chrysler boat.

Right, because it's harder to bench race when it actually runs...makes it too risky to be called out!

It will be running and Soon and for the record I have never said mine will be faster than anyone else's  I know it will always be slower than most if not all but it will be different and mine.
