I hit one in my 4x4 once, at about 50 mph. Went over it, so no sheet metal damage, but sure made a mess under the truck.  :tongue:

They can tear some stuff up fo sho, but sometimes swerving to try & miss 'em is just as bad or worse.

Yeah Ditches and trees tend to do even more damage.  Plus insurance companies look at a collision with a tree differently than with a deer.
