I've wondered that myself. But I can never remind myself to buy a ticket. think.gif

Never have either, not even a scratch-off ticket... Carole does every now & then.

Going on the hunt for some A/C parts for Carole's car. If she started driving that, help out on the $$$ situation compared to feeding gas to her Dodge.

Trying to get motivated on pulling the engine out of that '76.

Miata... it needs a dryer for sure & a compressor too I believe. I'm sure the parts are readily available, I just never checked on them myself. A/C shop wants to replace everything of course, estimate for that was higher than giraffe pu$$y  & that was a couple years ago.  :smile13:

'76 has a bad lifter. I was thinking about just replacing the lifters, but that seems to not be a good idea. Then it kinda snowballs from there, the old: "well, if you gonna go that far, you may as well do this.. and if you're gonna do that, then you may as well bla bla bla..."

You know the drill... :cheesy:

Let me know on the Miata. I have some good parts sources for A/C stuff. That sucks on the truck.

Go ahead & check on it when you get some time. I was thinking I'd get the parts & take it to Duane for assembly. Not sure if he knows that yet, lol... Gonna need a compressor, when I had a belt on it it was making some noise, bearing I guess. And may as well get one with a clutch cuz with or without, not much difference in price according to Auto Zones website. And a drier. That is supposedly the culprit with it right now.

Ya I hear ya on the '76.. It wasn't the news I would have liked to hear, but no sense in cutting a corner with it trying to save a few bux & then end up having to do it again anyway. On the plus side, it is giving me the opportunity to fiddle with the Lightning. Leaving it sitting it has sure gone downhill.
