WOW!  What a weekend!  We qualified in the #1 position with a 6.006! What a tough group of racers!  The top SIX qualifying spots were 6.010 or QUICKER!  Unfortunately, after the first round bye of 6.050 we lost in the second round on a red light.  Many red lights and many breakouts by very small margins in the QE class.  Every single team is capable of running that perfect pass at anytime.  That's why we try so hard.  Ol' Knotty has really come to be one heck of an awesome driver!  Thanks for letting me and Patch tag along.  It was absolutely a blast! 

BTW, Knotty really loves the atomic warhead candies!  :smile30:

Well we made a showing for sure.  Tim and Patch were just awesome.  I cannot even began to tell you how fortunate I am to have these guys on our team.  QE knows now to win you have to get around a little white hydro called Lucky Draw.  Those two will have it ready to run the number. Tim designed a little black box to shift it into second "WOW" it is a secrete weapon. We just keep getting better.  The QE class is the toughest class in drag boat racing right now.  I am glad we run in it, you earn everything you get there. Cannot wait to go to Phoenix, those Cali boys will not know what hit them.  :smile16:.

Awesome Job Knotty,
Any racer not redlighting every once in a while is not trying hard enough to win.  Too bad the other guy didn't red light as well would have probably been a win for you in that case.

Next year will have to get out and see you race will be an awesome sight.

Also glad that beast is finally running good and putting down the passes.

Excellent trip guys! Lucky Draw and Henry were spot on! Tim's electronic skills are second to none!!!!!!! Ready to go again, now that I slept all day yesterday! crazy.gif :grin:

I got home yesterday and took about a 2 1/2 hour nap.  By 8 o'clock last night, I could barely keep my eyes open.  Needless to say, I slept HARD last night!  Nice and cool too!

BTW, Wheatland is an AWESOME venue!  That facility kicks butt!  I wish we had more places like that to go race.
