Sure thing Billy, no problem. Ya saw that... maybe he'll have an "end of the year clearance" thing going on.

Also saw this posted on Perf. Boats regarding the fiberglass seat shells...

Scotty Seastrum at Scott's Marine & Welding in Hot Springs, AR builds a couple of size fiberglass seat shells that I believe includes a big boy....

The guy in Florida Drag Boat City -- Dante--also shows them on his web page little cheaper also .. I will check out Scott Marine and see what he has ..

Forgot about him... Also a dude in Oklahoma I think may do them. Used to advertise here, Big Daddy's Speed & Marine or something like that? He used to post here, but its been awhile.

Yep, just saw the banner ad come up...  Big Daddy's Speed & Marine, out of northern Oklahoma... (918)485-7223 his website was www.bigdaddyspeed.com but not a current website anymore.

OK- I got a new seat shell 19.5 in wide coming from Keith .. Will let everyone know how it works after I get it .. He is the cheapest I found and he is located in the Houston area ..
Now I need to find a person to match my upholstery.. Might try Gaston at Becky's Custom Canvas

Beckys is who I used and to be truthful, after seeing their work and his operation, I'm sold! I will be using them again in the future. IMO, their work is top notch!

Loren - The one that I am getting is 19.5 inches to the outside .. That will give me just about 3/4 of an inch clearance on the sides combined .. We will just do a high density thin foam on the sides to help get me in it .. Will paint it white and call it good and keep my old seat just like it is , in case I sell or trade this boat off .. I can always take the bigger seat with me then ..
The old one is about 17.5 inches wide and with the cover and foam installed , have maybe 14-15 inches of clearance .. Having trouble with my laptop posting the picture of the current boat seat , The pic is too large and I cant downsize it right now .. I posted it on THB Facebook page

I was just curious my buckets are in the attic and I didn't remember how wide the "stock" ones were. Like I said I run the bench except for running sanctioned races. It's too hard to get to my shifter with the bench to run clocks so that's about the only time I swap out.
