Thanks for the answer Alan and Cashhole--by mapquest it is about 12 miles on land and like 3 miles on water, but have heard there are a lot of hidden trees--i will also talk to the guy that lives next to her, he has lived on this lake a long time. Is the area around the park a better part of the lake?

The northern part is better fishing but by Salina Bay, Ledbetter Bay and the dam there are less trees to watch for.
Rocket did 6 or 7 thousand dollars damage to his wake boat last year when a stump jumped in front of him.

Well, I only got to make it out Sunday afternoon, and all were either gone or packed up and hung over.  I drank a few beers and bs'd with some good people.  Rob made a few passes to use up the rest of his alcohol.  That thing sounds good!  Hopefully next time y'all meet up I won't have so much crap going on, and I'll have my boat running.

What type of damage did you get ? How far down did it go or was it close to the bank ?

Yes 3boatpaul it sunk at the shore line. Don't know what happened, me and the old man just got back from a ride on Mr. Kirkland's Jet Killer and it was down, we had a good bit of water in the back of the Warhawk too but the pump was sucking it out. I got pictures of it I'll have to get them all up.

It was nice meeting all you guys, I am terrible with names but I remember Mr. Phil Kirkland and step-son Cooper ( thanks for the lake tour!! it was a blast!! ) Hope we can do it again soon.

Here is the first picture I got -

thats a bad deal ..what might help next time .... park your boat with the bow faceing the main body of the lake instead of the transom ..them v drive flats are handicaped to start with .no matter what size wake is headed for your boat..and splash gaurds would be very helpful.. :smile12: :smile12:
