My v-drive experience has been that they are like a helicopter! For every hour of fun, there is 2 hours of maintenance! And don't forget, that they make parts! At least these two did!

You will probably have to remove it, clean up the old silicone. Then re-silicone it and install. It may have been removed and re-installed with out re-sealing it.

Man I looked at the marine mufflers at Summit, wholly crap batman! They are way expensive compared to automotive mufflers! Of coarse they are allot prettier too!

I wouldn't think that a muffler would be that bad. There are a few lakes in Texas that do not allow over - transom exhaust. So always ask before you tow any kind of distance with your boat.

I haven't priced them yet, but I have heard they are sky high!

I would say it's discouraged if they are full. But if not, I'm sure they will work with you. I think they are just trying to make sure everyone has parking for their cabins.

I agree, simplicity is best. The jet boats use the Berkley T-valve. They work great as long as you clean and check them every once in a while.

It's a river, but not a current where you go at Plowmans. They actually have a sheltered cove area to hang out in. More like a lake setting with nice water! Usually two anchors work for those who don't beach up.
