Timing cover is all buttoned up. Decided not to pull the intake yet. New coolant hoses are going on, ran out and had to order more. But got all the trailer tires replaced! So time for an oil change and she should be good!

So I started working on the issues that seemed to pop up after we ran the Hawaiian last. The reverse bucket issue was solved by lubricating the shifter assembly. It shifts nice and smooth now. The ( what appeared to be moisture getting into the oil) is being a little more deceptive. To start...

Spent the weekend camping at Waldo's in Columbus tx. Nice laid back place. They offer a short float down the Colorado river. It is not fast paced like the Guadalupe can be. So if you are looking for a quiet camp ground and a relaxing river float, give Waldo's a try.

Spent the weekend at Brackenridge park. This really is a nice facility for those who want to get out of the city for the weekend. Lake Texana seems like it can be a little rough, but you can tow over to the Navidad/ Lavaca river for some flat water. A few pics attached.

I figured out I have to work on it for it to ever get fixed. Lol. I have been busy doing some rat killing on other projects and I am just about caught up where I can get it finished.
