Spent the weekend camping at Waldo's in Columbus tx. Nice laid back place. They offer a short float down the Colorado river. It is not fast paced like the Guadalupe can be. So if you are looking for a quiet camp ground and a relaxing river float, give Waldo's a try.

Spent the weekend at Brackenridge park. This really is a nice facility for those who want to get out of the city for the weekend. Lake Texana seems like it can be a little rough, but you can tow over to the Navidad/ Lavaca river for some flat water. A few pics attached.

Well I found a boat hidden at the back of our property. She needs a little work, but I can see the potential. It was fun to see the look on my wife's face when I told her I got another boat!
