Aug 7-8 Lake Somerville ( Yegua Park) will be our annual get together.. Yegua only has campsites, no cabins, there is a Super 8 motel in town. Both boat ramps are open this year!!! Sorry for the late post, the world just been crazy lately. Hope to see y’all.. Black is arranging a gathering. ...

Well I fired up the Ol Fountain yesterday, and the alternator is no worky! So it looks like it is time to convert it over to a new marine 1 wire! jump.gif jump.gif jump.gif

Got a chance to help a friend with his Gasser over the last two weekends. Hopefully be hitting "Little River"  racetrack in Temple soon! :smile30:

Went to watch drag racing at the track in Baytown last weekend. I haven't been there in 15 years. Wow has it changed. The racing was good, but the weather was a bit cool.

Went to the boat show, and they actually had three performance boats there this year. The sticker price gave me a shock though! :smile20: 1. 22' Donzi classic $ 129,000 2. 27" Baja  $179,000 3 Big Donzi, not sure of length. $555,000

The old man decided it was time for a new boat house this year! Guess I won't be able to use that excuse anymore! :smile14:

So does anyone have any upgrades or repairs planned for the down season? I am going to finish the engine cover for my Hawaiian so I can hopefully splash the Ol girl once more next year! I have only had the engine cover sitting there for 6 years I think.  crazy.gif
