With a BBF and some 4:10's the boat is a little better I believe. The seats are from a company called Flow-fit. :smile16:

Those old trucks like that are cool , I want to find me a 67-72 Chevy one of these days to build me a little tow rig out of .

You leaving the 4.10's in it? If so, you gonna have to leave a day early to get anywhere far with them little tires on it. :cheesy:

Unless you get fancy with an overdrive or something. bling.gif

I made it to Dallas and back once. The longest drive of my life! Thank goodness for a/c and a radio. crazy.gif

hahaha, man I imagine. :cheesy: When I had those short tires on my Lightning, even with overdrive the 4.10s were not highway friendly at all, lol. Drove it to Plowmans that way once. crazy.gif

My Camaro had 2.60's in it, I want something tall geared like that for the '76... :cheesy:

I am running 4:10's in my old Suburban but with 35" tires. You can cruise 75 at around 3000-3200 rpm but it definitely has an appetite for gas!

I have a set of 2.80's for a 9" :smile30:

is that so.... You interested in parting with them? If so, & Steve don't want them, I might.

I bought them for highway gears for the cougar....also got a spare pumpkin and carrier for them, so it's a quick gear change. The 4.86's may just be a lil' steep for a trip to Corpus. :smile16:

BTW, working on getting the old car road ready this weekend. jump.gif

The Bronco in the background had 4:56 with 36" Swampers. The 460 would get almost 18 mpg on the highway. That was a bad azz truck untill some a-hole stole it and ragged it out. Poor girl was even shot 5 times and went under water for a week during the hurricane. And it still runs! crazy.gif
