I cranked it up yesterday to warm the engine before changing the oil and the damned fuel pump started leaking.  :smile15:  I decided to go a different route and try something new.  I ordered a Holley HP 150 from O'Reilly's.  It will be here by noon today.

Don't get me wrong, I have read of lots of failures with them, so this one ever pukes I'll just consider it a bonus it lasted as long as it did & probably just go manual.

Fuel? Maybe you should consider switching to 87 octane, lol....

That Av gas eat up the  gaskets?

Maybe???  Its kinda dry.  Might play hell on stuff not designed for it.

I doubt the AV gas is the problem.  When people talk about AV gas being dry, that coming from people who sell racing gas trying to confuse issues.
The reason AV gas is considered a dry gas is the water content is strictly controlled for airplane usage.  Water will freeze at higher altitudes, and that's not good.
So, you have a dry gas.
As long as the AV gas has the octane needed for the engine, it's a good gas to use.

Please elaborate on the AvGas dryness !
I've run drums of the stuff  BUT I Do Add  , Lead Subsitute and a bit of 2cycle oil as an upper lube due to the fact AvGas is a Low Lead blend
