Went out for a ''pre- Hydro '' test run at Dunlap on Fri, ran great EXCEPT I noticed the back was filling with water !! 2 freezeplugs leaking, not dripping, ''spurting '' luckily my bilge could stay ahead of the leak. Fixed it Sat, good to go.

Hi people hope all is well. Well what can I say, me and my buddy are coming over in less than a week! I have been watching the weather down at coleto and can only hope that the recent rain has topped it up enough to be able to run all the boats.Still I am sure if it was anything like last year it will be fantastic. I do how ever have a question, We are getting a rental car from DFW on the 12th April and I have the choice of cars and trucks that vary in price dramaticaly! Last year i got a 300c and after my first 50 miles of driving it came to the conclusion it was...  (Despite being brand new)  sh*t. I have been offered the choice between a Chevy and a dodge dakota pick up but  i don't know witch is the better bet? We are looking at traveling about 2500miles during our stay. I realise that THB is not a tourist advisory centre but hey you gotta ask !!!

I'd probably lean towards the Chevy as well. Dodge Dakota is a mid-size truck, probably would make for a loonggg ride from Dallas in that thing, lol....
