Henry, The offer on the Glastron is still out there.  It really looks like I will be taking the Liberator.  Are you camping. or did you get a room?

I am not a happy camper  :smile15: Mercury did not send my my dog clutch this week.  Now it will be two more weeks before I can hit the water.  Come Hell or High water I will be ready for Bay City Bash.  I am not sitting on the shore again!

I was hopeing you'd be out buying a gopro, and filming the maiden.....

I was post up this video, and rub it in a lil'

until I really watched the video, and I have to say....I certainly hope your boat isn't as ill handling as this one....

sure it rides on rails to a point, but Man....if you moved the steering wheel around like that in anything I ever owned, it'd be outta the water....all those corrections to go straight? WTF? And then going through those bridges like that... crazy.gif
Frickin' nuts
I'll stick with jets and v-drives.

I have to say after owning jets before the driving an outboard with power is a whole lot different.  I would just like to have one to drive.  I called yesterday and the guy still has not sent my crank.  I am past angry.  I was hoping to be running by the 4th but is is not looking good.  I will video it when I do cause I have to prove I do have a tub that will run.

If you think that thing doesn't steer well, drive a Hydro with outboard steering.  Takes half a turn of the steering wheel, just to counter the torque to keep it in the lane.

Looks like one of those steering wheels at the fair, just spins and never does much. Not knocking Knotty Girl but no a fan of prop steering.. To each his own.

My steering is not like that video. Actually it this pretty tight.  The feel of the boat is just different.  Plus to add one more difference to most performance outboards my hull is a jet boat hull not an outboard hull.  It took a while to get set up correct because of it.  I have most of those issues worked out.  Takled to he guy in Calf. that has my crank and he said he is shipping it Monday.  Not holding my breath.  He has more excuses that Carter has Liver Pills.

I was going to say something cute like isnt your boat sill on the trailer, or to turn your boat all you need to do is drag one paddle while rowing with the other, BUT I realized I'm in the same position so best to keep my mouth shut.  Hope you and Karol are doing well.

I will be running in two weeks.  I think I have talked Karol into letting buy another power head for a back-up also.  I think I will get just a plain 'ol stock 225.  One for playing one for a little faster playing.

Crank was suppose to be here yesterday "NOT" called him all day no answer, been trying today no answer.  I am beyond ticked.  :smile15:  Actually I am real nervous.  This will be the last time I deal with these clowns.

Nothings worse than sitting on your hands waiting on parts. And then try and rush to get it to water on time. I feel your pain.
