Another rumor is its been suspected that it was commandeered by private sources to be brought back to the states, torn down & parted out. There is reportedly a buyer in the New Braunfels area already putting in bids for one of the engines in hopes of getting a capless jetboat of questionable origin over 42 mph once completed.

I would hope it would go faster than 42mph
:cheesy:

The US is always last in these type mandates.  This is no exception.  Everyone else in the world is already FANS 1/A compliant.

Look on page 33 of this document.  http://www.duncanaviation.aero/files/straighttalk/Straight_Talk-FANS.pdf

This article was published back in 2011.  The coverage map that I saw today shows a much larger coverage area but, you get the idea.

I have about 500,000 lbs. of aircraft grade aluminum to sell.  Anyone know which scrapyard pays best?  I also have several tons of wire to scrap.?.?

Well Malaysia has confirmed they knew it flew for more than six hours after the loss of communication. And it is important as to where this plane is because it has innocent civilians on it ( including a Texan)! :smile30:

Do you remember 911? That is one long range potentially dangerous weapon! No joke there my friend! :smile30:

easy there,  don't get your panties in a wad....  :undecided:
I'm not, but I come from an airline family. So this type of incident hits home! :smile30: Hard to poke fun at innocent people missing especially fellow Americans! Just saying! Cj's boat still needs allot of help though! :smile30:

Well then it's setting in a hanger somewhere being striped down or loaded with something to make a big boom somewhere, so let's hope they get on the ball and go get it!! And pray all the passengers or still alive, and a safe recovery!
