Yea its gonna be a little hair raising for sure. I looked at the Lightening header site and you gottta do all sorts of measuring before they will even build a set for ya! Im gonna have to take a block and bolt some old heads on it and put the mounts and rail kit on and bolt it in the boat just to get my measurments.

Lot of hassle, but well worth it. Thats one thing about mine, if I ever go back with thru-transom exhaust, you can still see in the glass where the old holes were on the transom. :cheesy:

Thanks man! Just saw this post! Glad you understand dealing with family matters! The boats will rot before I choose between them and family! Hope all is well or getting better with yours!.

well put, sir! i've been heckled a bit for the last few years for not being at events and such....those folks just don't understand, and hopefully never will. :smile30:

I havn't even been able to go out to lunch or anywhere for that matter, much less able to finish a boat and go to the lake. :smile25:

Duane  I am with you on that one, 10-12 hour days no lunches running like a chicken with my head cut off but with a direction and purpose in 20 directions.  Get home and scramble to get to activities with the kids.  Last night was father daughter bowling league and tonight is scouts with my son.  Then in between friends cars and their families cars need tending too and side jobs no time to finish my chopper or the boat.  This weekend have to redo a trans that was working fine and all of a sudden lost all but 1st and rev (limp home)  Hopefully it something simple and I dont have to pull the trans back out.  And I was planning on getting the chopper rideable this weekend.  I tell people I will sleep when I am dead.  If I keep going like this it may be sooner than later.

Well it will be nice to see both you and Duane back on the water, we do understand about family. We consider you two family as well, and the heckling wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Sorry if it seemed that way. The boat is looking great, and I look forward to seeing it on the water! And I would like to see Duane's boat as well, but mom comes first as she should! clap.gif :smile16:

Soooo, what does that mean? Are you thinking about making progress on the youngblood. Like maybe some day even get it in the water? Black got his CP running now. It sure would be cool to see you on the water again!
