Ya, that's kinda what I figured. We all went to lake Tawakoni (about an hour east of our home base Lake Lavon) and literally boiled. We had to get out of the water and under the bimini top to cool off. Lavons water temp ranges from 90-94 degrees which though very warm, is cooler than lake Tawakoni. I'm not complaining, the water temps are still cooler than the 108F air temps we've seen this week.

I've already started my trek from the DFW area towards Okmulgee. Towed the Crusader to OKC yesterday as I'm here all week for a conference. I'll show up to Okmulgee Friday morning and will help y'all set up as necessary.

Here's a picture of the Crusaders temporary quarters until it's time to head your way.

Hey Cliff.  How did you come up with that lake temp?  I was trying to find a site with current local lake temps and could not find one.

was still thinking about it, but my sister told me it is extremely hot up there says it's 109 in okc, not sure if i want my tires melting to the pavement :smile26:

I'm in OKC at this very second and it's still fricken hot outside!!! At 8:44pm at night it's still 103F here!!!

Hopefull sitting around having a few cold beers and relaxing. But it will probably be more like stressed the phock out

Don't get to excited BD. The high temp for Saturday is forecast to be 109F!!

It just plain 'ole hot out!!
