Get her back on the road for the little man, great news! clap.gif clap.gif :smile30:

Thanks. Well considering his Birthday is monday and he will officially be 9 then....the new battery and the new charger will be his birthday presents. I just don't have enough cheddar for anything else. lol.

I'm taking him and his best buddy over to and RC shop in Carrolton so he can take his Stampede on the monster truck course. This is gonna be fun for all of us I'm sure.

Actually is was a control arm? Thats what the guy said anyway. So for the left and right side (they come in a pair) it was $9.95. But I also got some body clips, some C clips, some CA glue for the tires, a battery charger and a battery for a buck twenty.

No kidding on the zip ties and wood screws.....that stuff is expensive. lol.

I got ya. Thats not too bad. Get used to it, its a pretty common fix.  Before long you will be able to take it down to the chassis & back together with yer eyes shut. :cheesy: Also don't forget, may want to call or email Traxxas & see what their warranty covers. At one time, pretty much anything you could tear up on one was covered.

LOL, I wasn't lyin about the other stuff, I need to get some pics up of my buggies, they have had hard lives. Ripped the rear control arms smooth out of one of 'em. Split the chassis on another. Got to where I was keeping tin snips in my tool box so I could make a patch if I had to, lol...

Oh, and the kid tore up the body mounts too so for $5 more, I was able to get a front and rear body mount.

After our cub scout meeting and homeowrk is done tonight, I'll have him do the repairs....it'll be good for him to learn how to tear it down and build it back up.
