They are an awesome sight! And past experience with these guys says they will fly till Dark and then there will be stragglers that will continue to fly Sunday, Sunday will most likely see a mix of R/C planes.

Patch, that vid was sweet!  I could only imagine if someone tried to do that in US Coastal waters.  Coast guard would be all over it!

ya, I flew it for about 4-5 minutes till the oldest saw me flying it & then it was over with, lol... Had to keep a close eye on her that she didn't send it into orbit, she was determined to let out every bit of line on that reel. :cheesy:

wind ever settle down enough for you to do any r/c flying?

I myself have done this but, I think anyone who flys RC will crash.  think.gif
