We should be there. I will try to attend as much as I can. My family and I really had a blast and we liked everyone we met. Eva said to tell Leanne "Hello!" she really enjoyed it. If someone wants to plan a day trip to the river let me know! I would like to check out San Jac.

I'll have to try and see what I can do. I'm supposed to take my mom out to Lake Conroe. If she cancels, I'll head to San Jac! :smile15:

I'll run it by her. My dad lives on Lake Conroe. The cove by the public boat ramp isn't bad. The rest of the lake sucks! We'll see what pans out.

Any one have a physical address on altair? I would like to put in the Gps so I can find my way!

Ya I can still read! just don't know what the Marina is called there. I do use map quest and was looking up Loves on the San Jac. Can't find much about it on the web, but Map quest shows the vacinity any way. Looks a litttle far from the river.

yes altair is only near the river,  there is not a marina on the colorado, when you get to altair coming from columbus,  turn left and i think it's 5 or so miles,  and the ramp is under the bridge

Loves is right on the river off of old hwy 90
Take beltway 80 to hwy 90 and go east on 90 exit 2100 and go north on 2100 take your first right at the light (right under hwy 90) go down about 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile and the road will have a small "Y" intersection veer left there and stay heading west Loves will be about a 1/4 mile down on your left
In altair there is no Marina it is a public boat ramp on Hwy 90 at the river. If you are heading west it will be on your left and if you are heading east in will be on your right just on the east side of the river.

Thanks Sturat and Rodger I will call when I get a chance! By the way Rodger I'm leaving the BBF to you. I can just be the Patchman. I don't want to step on any feet. Did anyone hear from James? I saw the Park Ranger over there along time Sunday afetrnoon. Didn't see any one leave in cuffs though! I figured all wass probably O.K!
