Well I guess ive diverted the topic here, sorry. Dumped my oil today. Was running a magnetic pre-filter made by forcefeild has some metal on it :smile14: also found a small chunk in the oil maybe just machinig swarf I don't know. The pre-filter may be the cause of restriction causing the presure relief to open and the presure to drop? Still all speculation.
The oil looks fine this is the 3rd change and only 3hrs on the motor also found an o-ring looking hunk of silicone maybe 1/2 inch round on top of the filter??? I pulled the distributer bronze gear looks great as does everything I can see down inside there?? Ditching the forcefield for now put in a magnetic drain plug starting to get nervous but we'll see how it go's on Sun with all the extra crap out of the oiling system.. I don't know F$$K it man lets go bowling!!
