I just got off the phone with someone at the marina and as of right now its $15 a night to camp in the field, $25 a night for one of the 7 tent spots with water and electric that are waterfront, and the prices cliff said on the cabins. The owner is calling me back about a group discount and rv pricing. And its $5 to launch your boat if you don't stay the night. How many cabins and rv sites are we looking at right now?

One more question that you might ask them . how many tents and Vehicles will they allow in each Tent or RV site ?? And does the trailer count as a vehicle ??  I did not see this on their website .. Some of us might like to throw a couple of tents on one site if they will allow it but we will have two trucks and two boats  ..

Right now I will just be doing the one day deal and paying the launch fees of 5.00. If I can swing the Friday night , i will just stay with some one or throw a tent in the field for 15.00 

Too expensive to drag my RV over  . Cheaper for me to  get a Cabin or tent it .

Thanks again for going the extra mile to get this event going ..

You don't have to pay for any trucks or trailers you just pay for each tent you pitch. No launch fees for people staying the night. He even said if needed we can put tents beside cabins we rent. I'll ask the owner about putting tent beside rv's.

That would get expensive if you throw 2-3 tent on one tent site at 25 bucks a pop .. He will be making a ton of money if that happens .. I think there will be a more staying in the field at that rate ..
Is he going to charge extra for tent at the Cabins or RV site also ??

OK , enough question from me ..

I am just asking because I know other people will ask .

The prices sound pretty good to me.  Where else can you get a water front site with water and electricity for $25 a night?  Hell, I'll spend more than that in gas to get there and back and I'm local.

Still didn't get the owner but he told the guy that I talked to we get full use of the rec center and everything on the facility so we won't get a group discount although we can put 2 tents on each tent site in the field. It will cost 15 a tent beside cabins and rv's. I check if we can put 2 per site on the $25 sites. He said the owner had to make that call.

Still up in there air about tent or camper. Being October it will be nice to tent it but momma not too much on the tent idea. Just have to see how many of the crew will be coming with us to figure which route we are gonna take. But def plan on doing it up and burning some fuel..  :smile17:

Man the prices sound great to me! This place as with any, need to make some money off these type events. If they do well, you will find they are more apt to work with us in the future. I think the facility looks as good if not better than the others, and the prices are fair, our economy sucks, and these folks need to make a living also. :smile27:

Yeah that's why I'm not tryin to beat him up too much on the prices. Iv camped at worse for more. If you put 2 friends or couples on one site then its only $7.50 a night.
