I just got off the phone with the owner and he is going to email me a proposal packaged deal for us he said it would be a set price per person like $20-$25 and kids free. That will include a band type of music our choice and he will feed everyone. He is also sending prices if we don't want the packaged deal. So we will see Monday. I'll post the email. The package does not include camp sites.

let me get his proposal and let everyone see it then we can all vote on it. I would like everyone to be for it to do it because i dont want that to keep people from coming. We can still have fun and party without a band. just my 02

just my 02 but maybe people wll appreciate the event more and act accordingly if they have to pay to get in for food and entertainment. Great idea! i love it.Keep up the good work Bobby

Will that include use of the ramp? I'd be game at $15 per person. Not sure I would pay $25 per person. Dawn is pretty picky about food and we would probably be gone before the band anyway.

yes that would include the launch fee he said. I know it wont be less than $20. I tried $15 and he wouldn't do it. Ill see if he will hand out bracelets for the people that pay for the food and band and let the people without it and not staying the night just pay the $5 launch fee. He did say we would have to have 30+people to do the package deal. Im sure that wont be a problem if we decide to do the Package.Last Mohican said:

If you do go with the package hopefully there is a way to opt out. I know you will lose a lot of local attendance if it cost $50 for a couple to attend just for the day.

I wont do anything that will keep people from coming. Thats why i will make sure at least 30 people would do it and then ask him if we can make it an option. If he says no or if we dont have 30+ that are for it then we wont do it.

Ya know Bobby, there's no guarantee that we will have 30 people minimum. I'm all for bring your own food and beer. We will definitely have someone playing tunes and a good time will certainly be had.
The OHBA bash had a live band and food but we didn't have to pay $25 a person to have fun.
If you ultimately decide that the entertainment and food is what's going to happen, I'll support you bro. But if my opinion matters.......I'd rather not dish out an additional $25 clams.

Im considered redneck I guess, and wouldnt have it any other way, but I NEVER had a mullet.... But back when me and my wife first met we did rough it in a trailer park for a year without a yard full of crap and it was mowed weekly. Oh and im edjamacated. crazy.gif

One of the best times I remember was at Lavon couple years back we went to a NTJBC event and Travis (slowboat) was at my camper taking Patron shots with my wife and we walked back down to go see EO and he face planted in the blacktop. First thing he did was look at me and say, why did you push me... crazy.gif It was funny at the time I was 10' behind his drunk butt.. Good Times for sure. :smile17:
