High compression 1.6l 4 cylinder, cammed, ported head, 5.13 gears, super reduced tease, on 35x15.5x 15in swampers. Last engine me and my ole man ever built together.  It crawls over anything amd havent been stuck yet.

I would imagine so! We picked one up for little of nothing last summer. Had to go over it & do a few things as it's pretty rough, but the couple of times we've had it out so far been pretty happy with what it'll do. If you can keep the tires on the ground seems like it'll go wherever you point it.

Talked to Scott from reincarnation, he still had dads build sheet.  Real cool dude.  He got me my dads old cam with a few changes on the exhaust profile.  He thinks it will make another 50 hp with this grind.  I have it short-blocked minus the cam.  Got some new springs for the heads, and bought 2 750 holley hp carbs. Hopefully be breaking it in, in a few weeks.  I still have to get the seats done, found a guy for that too.....    jump.gif

Well the heads were beat up a little more than I would have thought, valves and seats were badly rusted, but 800 bucks later, I got em back from the machine shop and they look good.

This weekend supposed to actually be nice here, in the low 80s if you can believe it. Gonna take advantage of it & try getting my trailer fixed finally.
