Still got a little time yet for Mother Nature's crappy weather shenanigans. I get tired of the unpredictability, but that is Texas weather for ya. :smile28:

I'm at Yegua camping. I can't believe it!!! Given the forecast for the weekend. Simon is bringing his motor home up her also. Seems he had a bad week at work and needed to "get away". I don't know if his problems are work or wife related. I'll find out when he gets here. I 'm 1/2 hr from my driveway to the gate at Yegua. So far the weather has been cloudy but warm and breezy. Nasty stuff coming tonight I think. No boats for me this weekend.

The main one in the park is not open and won't be for awhile. They are doing some remodeling in the turn around area. I'm not sure about the other one.

Looks like it was a great weekend to be up there. Did Simon get a chance to unwind?

Ya. Sounds like his wife is going thru menopause. Been there and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Funny story from Sunday: Simon had a small drone and got it stuck in a tree. A 9 year old kid climbed the tree and got the drone out. Simon gave him the drone. Made that kid's weekend for sure.

The view from site 18 at Yegua today.

Thats about right, no boat then the water & weather turns out great. crazy.gif Still nice to hang out out there though. We were at Texana over the weekend and was pretty much the same thing, not quite as sunny, but the water was glass.  :smile17:

I keep looking at the lake level site hoping to see the water dropping. Somerville, Whitney, Waco, and Belton still all flooded. Canyon seems to be the only option now.

There was a get together on Medina not long ago, not sure if it's affected or not. Or maybe Buchanan, go see Mike B.  I saw where ol Ed/Drumzilla went to the Trinity River over the weekend, not sure exactly where that is, up around Houston somewhere I'd guess. Didn't look bad from the few pics I saw. I don't see us doing much traveling this summer, we'll probably be mostly running local.

I think it's full, or close to full. I was seeing some chatter on FB about it, supposedly that Thousand Trails campground they had it at ended up being booked. I never saw many pics or much talk after the fact though so not sure how it turned out.

Our receptionist has a thousand trails membership. I was thinking we need to go check it out again. But I could see it being booked up. think.gif
