Worked on Child's Play all weekend still not running  :smile18:

whats wrong now ......dizzy didn't help  :smile21:
Changed the intake, intake gasket and coil. Have the new dizzy but did not put it in i do not think that is the problem but could be. The new dizzy is to tall and my motor cover will not close with it on. Got pee-ed of Sunday and said frock it and put it back in storage about 6:00 last night. I guess i can try the new dizzy but i will have to modify my engine cover and do alittle upholestry work to it and that is something i do not want to do.

what is she doing stu ....... you might need to check and see if shes plug'd in
popping and missing like to timing is jacked up. we can advance or retard with little differnce in the way it will run, once it runs that is. Go to far advance no start of course same with retard but in the small window just wont run right or idle?

OK,  i might have missed this being said,  but i will say it.......

when stabbing the dizzy,  must know if you are at TDC on compression stroke,  otherwise you will be 180 out!

pull valve cover off or remove #1 plug....  when intake valve closes  or  you have stuck your finger in the plug hole and you feel compression (air coming out) and you are at TDC install dizzy pointing to #1 cylinder.  hope that helps.
