I am looking for a 20" wide Fiberglass seat shell for my boat .. Or maybe a complete seat ready to go  that is 20" wide maybe white , or grey ??  .. Can not be wider  than 20.5 inches max .. The one I have is too small for me . Would like to be the two rib design to match passenger seat ..
If not , I guess I can get one for Drag Boat City or Canyon Marine new ..Drag boat City has them 20 inch wide and Canyon Marine has a 20.5 .. Not sure if the 20.5 will fit without hitting the in/ out V-Drive lever
Let me know if you have one .. I will have it painted and upholstered if not the right color to match my boat  ..

Hhmm, won't fit huh?  :smile26:

I would laugh but you know there is a reason I run that fiberglass bench seat most of the time.    :smile30:

Henry  I thought about that , but prefer not to mess up one of the original seat that is painted to match the boat in case I want to sell it some year ..

I have foam padding all around my seat, does yours have foam that can be removed or reduced to aid?

Jim--I just had the seat redone the past winter and we went with a smaller denser foam .. These seat are just too small for me .. They have always been too small ..

Wayne-- I could diet and lose a lot of weight and still not fit in these small seats .. Every time I try and diet , the dam food is a lot higher than what i normally eat .. I will shed a few pound before summer , but I still will not fit in the seat like I should .. I just dealt with it for the past few years and would like to be more comfortable now .. ..

Loren -- I prefer to not mess these original seats up .. they are custom painted on the back to match the boat ..
I will find a bigger seat and have it done to match the other seat .. It just will not be painted like the passenger seat ..

At the races I seen several guys pull the outside foam out and just leave the insert snapped in. With a a drivers suit and shorts I just barely squeeze in mine and with the required ballistic shorts no way. I'd definitely have to widen mine or get a wider seat to fit well with all the racing gear.

Just a suggestion, fiberglass is easy to work with if you don't mind the itching part.

Jet Boat Performance does. They make a 20" wide & a 24" wide for their "big boy" version. That may grind Billy's gears to buy something from a store with "jet boat" in the name though. :cheesy: I got the impression he was looking for a used one though, maybe not...

Kenny--- Tom is getting me the info later .. I did not see them  on his website so I PM him on Performance boats and he replied .. Need to hook up with him on a couple of things .. Also I found Rex marine has one for sale also , it is black , but i do not know the size , so I replied back to him also ..

Hell it does not matter to me , I been pulled in by a jet boat once , so I have no pride anymore .. LOL
I was looking for a used one if I can find one .. JJ may have one for me , but still looking until i get out to his place and look at it ..

I just googled "big boy fiberglass seat shells" & a few forum links came up. They were old posts though, so wasn't sure how relevant the prices were.

This is what I came across from Jet Boat Performance. And hey, looky there, it sez for jet boats & v-drive boats so you are safe.

LOL
Comfort relating to a V-Drive?
That's a good one.

Sure thing Billy, no problem. Ya saw that... maybe he'll have an "end of the year clearance" thing going on.

Also saw this posted on Perf. Boats regarding the fiberglass seat shells...

Scotty Seastrum at Scott's Marine & Welding in Hot Springs, AR builds a couple of size fiberglass seat shells that I believe includes a big boy....
