OMG, it is hilarious!! Read the Broken Bow thread on the North section.
Are you the same cliff that txt me the other night and I asked who it was. Something. About motor lookin nice??

Yep, that was me!! I guess Hillbilly did a group text of his motor and when I replied to it, the reply went to all of the original recipients. Good to meet you bro!!

Right on dude. It kinda freaked me out cause I got davids txt then one from a number I hadn't seen. Talking about a motor.  A buddy of mine put my phone number on craigslist last year when we were advertising boat bash.  My phone didn't stop ringing for about 3 months. Lol

So back on Topic.  How many boats are typically in the "BASICALLY STOCK" class at Ft Cobb?

I have only seen 1 jetboat that I would call basically stock.  And let's just say it would be a long race.  As a matter of fact, I haven't ever seen the boat run all day long.

Hmm.  According to google it is a 4 hr drive from Dallas.  That would be a long way to go for no other boats in my class.

Come on down to North Texas and visit Lavon. You'll see my Glastron run ALL DAY LONG..  Pulling the kids on tubes and wakeboards, racing Matt and Brent, and pissing off the guy with the "Cowboy" boat by roosting past his boat and sparying them down. A day on lake costs my rig $45 easy. It doesn't stay parked long. That was last summer when it was 100% stock.

Cowboy boat... THAT was an exciting day!!

Yes it was.

Best exchange of the day:
Cop: Were you'll racing?
Chad: Absolutely not
Cop: Were ya'll driving fast
Chad: Absolutely

Best line of the day:
"Get your F'n feet off the boat."

Don't really remember.  One of those days over at Pebble Beach. There was a lot of boats there that day.  You would remember if you were there.  The guy James is talking about brought the cops out on his boat.  He damn near ran Chad's boat over.  He stuck his feet out to keep from hitting Chad's boat.  That is when Brian said that to him while the cop was right there on the boat with him. It was classic.

This old dude I'm talkin about is a muglee local. He's got a dope condor hull. Really nice, but the motor is out of a van or somethin, poor guy just can't keep it runnin. Got a junk edelbroke carb on it. That's the only thing not stock. Its a shame too. I bet the hull would roll out pretty good. Condor is a decent hull for a v bottom.

Well,  these knuckleheads were parked right in the middle of the cove where we make our passes... I think Don made a pass, then Jason went ripping through, then I went and made TWO passes back to back and I guess that was the last straw for them..

Here's the vid my daughter shot posted August 9th.. I guess it happened on August 8th.

Would they notice if I painted my aluminum heads Ford blue?? That's what is going to keep me out of the basically stock class. The heads. That's why they need an SS class..... Super Ski.. Anything is good if it fits under the hood.

They let a guy run in stock tunnel with one of those GM 502hp 502s and they have aluminum heads and a hydraulic roller.
