I wasn't gonna go there, because I knew someone else would anyway.... rolflmao

Well another full 2 days. All new center braces, added a roller to the back for when I go into driveways. All new wheel studs and wheel bearings.Still have to cut out the bad section still in the picks where it was rusted. Finished off the trim around the fenders.Sitll have to put all new bushings in the springs. This was one rusted out trailer.

Yeah it looks like you might have enough to get you started. John is still working with the TFH Nitro Chicken crew and also helping a few others out. He is working on a few other projects but is not locked in on a driver's position for this year. At least not yet. I think if BFF ever got off the ground he would be fighting with Tony Scarlata to see who got to drive it 1st! Never get a flat out of your blood.

When we were campaigning the twin screw flat, the red one that you showed airborne, we had bet Tony that we would beat him that year in the TAF championship. But Tony came back and bet us that we wouldn't even get into the 7's and boy did he put the gremlins on us with that one. Ran every race possible both in IHBA and SDBA and couldn't get her into the 7's. Then at Pheonix world finals John drove the living $h!^ out of the boat and ran a 7.93 I think. When he got to the outramp he told me that he almost had to crash the boat just to get under an 8. Not long afterwards Gene changed her back to a single screw and she laid some nice passes down for Andy Dement and I think Bill Dieaz(SP)? Tony is a helluva nice guy.

OK George, here is what I found this weekend:

This was “Scared Stiff”, later to become “Grounds for Divorce”. That is my little girl from 22 years ago.

This was John’s 2nd boat, a Sidescraft called “Religious Indecision”.

This is a test & tune pass at Lake Conroe

Hey Jason that is awsome.GFD looks good in the pick. I am so stocked to get this boat done.I am planning on running those old MT valve covers with spacers under them.Did he ever run over the transome headers or the logs? I emailed Gary again today. Still no word from him.Thank you again for helping me find picks. All I need is one good pick of the boat. May not ever fiind but the picture of it in red is WAY COOL :smile15:

If you look close at the pic of him standing by RI you can see that the headers were either Bassett or a copy. GFD had the same setup. Yeah, the red was pretty but the blue turned a LOT more heads, eapecially on the freeway headed to the lake!
