Well if I see something you want, I can get it and work out the rest later. I would hate to make you rush out the door! :smile28:

It'll take about 5 days to get my cash back, then I can pay ya.... :smile28:

Ok, now the guy says it is 214 bucks to ship it, of which we have paid 60....the remainder is 154 bucks, I shipped it this morning, ups ground.

WTF does that mean? can you partially pay shipping with cod owed at the other end? never heard of it. :smile21:

am I wrong?

I talked to the guy last night....he did indeed ship it AND payed for it....$214 crazy.gif

He said he'd appreciate it if I reimbursed him as I could...otherwise he'd take the loss....

Seems like a real stand up guy. I'm getting what would cost $700 bucks to dupicate, so I feel like I should stand up as well and help him out. :smile30:

Hard to find honest folks like that anymore, IMO. :smile17:

After I get it here and check it out good, I'll make a decision. :smile30:

I missed what you bought; but I know that I got a quote to ship a Telemaster and it was over $350; shipping a Kadet Sr. was ~$225

Finally got to the post office and picked up our Traxxas Slash yesterday. It came with Deans connectors so the first thing I did was go to Indy RC World and have the guy put Traxxas connectors on the battery and the car. Then went and tried to turn a couple of laps and that sucker is FAST. Being my first time, it was all over the track!! I brought it home and Edward burned up the street with it. NICE!!!! I think it already needs new tires. LOL

There will be video, that's for sure, crash or not. :smile16:

This is one of the most highly rated rc planes I've read about. All the reveiws I have read about it are nothing less than spectacular.
from the site:
Challenges the veteran pilot with the throws maxed—provides the first-time low-wing pilot with a smooth, steady flier with reduced throws.

I'll set the throws at minumum before I play.

So far I havn't hooked up with anyone to fly with, so I'll guess I'll solo again. :smile17:

It also seems this planes needs far less runway area for take off....which is awesome as well. There are some great videos of these on youtube, and sofar, it fits my bill perfectly......slow and easy to control, until you want it to dance...
Instructions even tell you not to overspeed...plane is designed and built to fly at stall or below stall speeds mainly.
