Weather is great.. Bring on the TX renaissance traffic... :smile15:

Don't be mad at them innocent folks, just trying to have a nice time. Think of all the tax dollars they bring to your area & all the improvements that it will make. :smile16:

Yeah, maybe they'll do some more work there at 1488 & 1774, heck, re-do the whole intersection. jump.gif crazy.gif crazy.gif

..sure hope they get those "improvements" done soon.. 1774 between Magnolia and Pinehurst are a mess...
So Patch have you noticed if those improvements are helping the traffic situation ??

Honestly, the traffic does seem to be moving in Magnolia this year. When they get the overpass done, it probably won't even be noticeable. think.gif

Woke up to 11/2" of snow. I measured it on the patio table by the pool. It started last night around 9 and quit before midnight but must have started up again later.

I figured you would want the 80's back so you could justify your mullet! :smile14:

lol, I don't need the 80s for that. If it wasn't for the boat I may still have had it.

After taking the time to do an antifreeze job on mine, it'll probably be a warm mild winter. Usually how it goes for me. So if it is, you welcome. haha

Yep I haven't seen it get real cold in south Texas many times to really hurt anything but it can and does happen. At least up here we get a little warning on the news but sometimes not, those blue northern's just rush on down and freeze everything overnight.
I remember one year hunting in Del Rio. When we left the DFW area going to Del Rio it was in the 70's and overnight we woke up freezing our a$$ off to 8 degrees and found out later it was 0 in DFW. Needless to say we hunted that day and found out real quick we were NOT prepared for those temps.

We got 2.5 inches in spring. My uncle used to always put a flood light under his hatch for winterization( he lives in Houston) which worked great UNTIL one year he lost power during a hard freeze for about two days. Fired up his motor that spring and the oil looked just like chocolate milk. Since them I've always drained or put antifreeze in mine.
