Right now the hold up is that they "are having a hard time verifing that he is covered under their insurance policy" .......... We will know if he has insurance before noon today.  :smile11:

we tried for 2yrs to settle with an insurance company on own.... and they just played the stall game until the statute of limitations ran out,  got an attorney, he wrote a letter and they settle for the same thing we were asking for.... So my advice is get an attorney and be done with it,  my .02

many times your insurance company will pay you and then turn and go after reinbursement from the other insurance company,  but not sure how that effects your policy

Well Allstate finally this morning accepted liability on the Jeep wreck . The police report was filed 4 weeks ago indicating the other driver failed to yeild the right away at a left turn yeild intersection , but they have taken this long to determine fault on the accident . Still no sign of them paying me for my Jeep , but they did come out the other day and look at it and determined it to be totaled . At least at this point they are not trying to say it was my fault . Hope they get thier shit together before too much longer , tired of not having a tow rig .
