Galen  --  I don;t think you needs these new heads .. Us Chevy guys are still trying to catch you .. You are still new to this and you are faster than most of us at the river  :smile18:  I might have to tie and anchor behind your boat this year to give us a chance to keep up with that Mopar

I would like to have them for a pump gas motor for the car. If I bought them right now mama would make me move in the garage with them.

A little setup work and a shot of nitrous and you'd be a serious contender anywhere Billy.  clap.gif

That would be sweet .. i was talking with Tony Denton the other day and he told me I should put that monster of mine in the Camaro .. Maybe one of theses years when i cant drive the boat any more , that would be fun to do ..
At least your Garage is heated and AC and and also  has Satelite TV ,, I would not mind staying in your garage Bud .. You even has a full bathroom down there .. Just need a small cooking stove and you would never leave your Garage .. ..
Can't wait to see what you do with the newest Hotrod Car ..

Thanks Loren .. I do not really want to be racing .. I just want to have a respectable boat at the River .. I had nitrous once and it almost tossed me out .. I know I did not do it correctly , but it scared the crap out of me when it chined really hard about 95 and water went over me and the engine .. Never hit it again after that .. My fault , I should have known to hit it from the get go .. IF i do it again , it will be with a plate system this  time ..

Mine is completely stock and I am sticking to that story .. It is juts a big block Chevy with a single 4 barrel ..

When there is an informal race with rules, you now have the perfect combination.
Single 4 barrel, pump gas, two seats, lake legal in a Cole TR-4.  WOW!
:smile30:
And all completely stock, I like it.

Ain't that the truth.
Making the course shorter to help "others" types of boats still isn't enough.
As the song says, "WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN"?

Yeah.......I don't think a lack of help will be a legitimate excuse. I am sure I will be there and I have never had a problem pitching in to help anyway I can.

Seriously - If I make it I will most likely need some one to tow the boat and trailer for me .. Dad will help as much as possible , but it may be too much for him .. That is what I will need help with .. I appreciate all the offer and may need it .. jump.gif

The engine is sitting in the boat , I picked it up from Galen last Friday when he came down to pick up his 68 GTX .THANKS AGAIN GALEN !!!!. Dropped the engine in Saturday , Engine mounts , Drive line , and starter is all I was able to finished Saturday .. Sunday pulled the fuel tank and spent a few hours tighten all the rudder and stuff that I normally can;t get to , removed some water lines and rearrange some of them so I can warm the engine up at the pits .. Got the new MSD wires made up and installed also on Sunday .. Now it too freaking cold to go out and work on it .. Need to make up a few new water lines with the new braided hose .. One more solid weekend , it should be about ready to fire off in the boat .. Going to change how I mount my scoop I think , or put a brace on it to secure it better .. Then get new numbers added to the scoop.. Dam the list just keeps getting bigger everyday .. Plus need a rope deflector soon
