Funny - Did not even think about taking pics .. Hell I was moving so freaking slow anyway , taking picture would have slowed me down more .. Maybe I will take a picture this weekend if it is nice outside .. No promises though ..
Mine is not a shiny boat , so no one cares about seeing pic of it anyway

Not sure how much a couple of cell phone pics would have slowed you down but I'm sure several on here would be interested in pics of your hotrod Billy.  jump.gif

Not shiney........ looked like it was in the pictures I've seen before  :smile30:

I was more concerned on getting stuff hooked back up instead of taking pictures, Hell I think i forgot where stuff goes now..  :smile18:
I will get a couple of pictures next weekend , hell it looks the same as before with different heads , intake and oil pan .. Only you guys would notice that little changes ..

If you took more pictures you could use them as reference to see where stuff hooked up to before  think.gif

I did exactly that (took a chit load of pics before disassembling) which will be my only chance of getting mine back together when it comes time. That is if I can find all the parts again!!! LOL!! :smile20:

It takes roughly 96 pieces to put a vdrive together. I expect to see that boat in Waco, Billy.

This is a piece of cake .. I have taken this engine in and out more time than I want to count .. It is just taking me a little longer this time , so I can check stuff that I normally don't check .. I am in no hurry , it too freaking cold out to run the boat anyway .. It will be ready by Spring ..
I need to change a couple of the cavitation plate control pads or whatever they are called , mine are getting some slop in them ..

Stacey-- We will be at Waco for sure .. I paid my Membership and I am not going to waist that money ..
I still need to bite the bullet on a new prop , just cant decide who to go with .. Dallas or Bergeron , then it will be time to get the boat dialed in..

Billy, I'm not sure what you have for a prop but I would run it first and see about borrowing some props to see how they compare versus just buying what's recommended but thats just me. Good luck!  jump.gif

I think that would be best , that way I can see what my old prop is doing and relay that info to the prop person .. All of the props that I have borrowed have been close to mine .. Rusty may have a person that I can borrow a few from later ..

Just a little update . The engine is in and I think she is ready to fire off , been ready for a few weeks . Just waiting for it to get a little warmer before I bust it off .. Buying all new 1/2 inch Cavitaion  Turnbuckles , Mounting Pads, Standoffs  ( stansion) or whatever they are called and all new pins .. Getting a new steering wheel also , mine is coming apart from death gripping it over the years .. And no , I did not take any pictures .. Still need to get my new seat finished also ..
Not going to work on it for a few days , We  lost a good friend last night to his battle with cancer , he was my age , 53 years old .. Rest in peace my Friend John Rouston .. I wish I could have given you a ride in this  boat like we talked about before you left us .. Until we meet again my friend Rest in Peace and no pain ..
