Thanks guys.  Hoping to have the transom finished in, holes cut, and gel-coated by first of the week. Ordering the new gimbal ring and trim sensors today. Going to try to drop off the 202 heads at the machine shop today to be checked out also along with making a final decision on the cam. No.....I couldn't leave a perfectly good stock crate 350 motor alone!! LOL!!! Summer is coming fast and I want this thing floating!!!!

Yep............I have no intentions of being "Landlocked" again this year!!! It won't be the boat "I" really want to have running, but the rest of the family will like this one better. Very few of them will enjoy "Bucket List" but they all know that boat is not about them.

Again, I can't take all the credit for all the work done on this job because my friend Brian of McNeil Marine wanted to take this job over mid-stream to show me what he could do as a trade out for work I had already done for him. As hard as that was for me, I let him, but I think he did a pretty good job. Just waiting on the new gimbal ring to make it in now so I can start reassembling it. Also, after having a buddy run some numbers on his desk top dyno and seeing what the gains would be with my heads, a small cam and factory exhaust on this crate 350, I decided I would not waist my good heads on this motor. It would be like putting nice high dollar running shoes on a turtle, not much sense in it. I will just run this motor stock and if I decide to keep the boat long term, then I will build a real motor for it and do it right.

Looks great, and I don't blame you for leaving the motor stock. :smile30:

Yeah....I decided to slow the train down a little since I really don't know anything about these boats. I had never seen or even heard of a CSS 19 until I bought this one, so I don't know if it will do what I want it to or not. I figure I will just get it running for now so I can drive it and then decide how deep I want to go into the boat.

There is nothing "special" about it but the new 350 is dressed, rigged,  and ready to go in. The new gimbal ring and trim sensors are installed and the transom assembly is ready to go back on. I ordered all new mounting studs, seals and gaskets for it from Mercruiser, so when all that stuff gets in I can start putting it back together. I still have a long way to go but I am wearing it down a little at a time.
