Boat ran GREAT!!! Needs a little tuning on the carb (slight hesitation when you hit full throttle from an idle) and a prop change but it ran flawlessly everywhere from WOT to idling for 2.1 hours according to the meter. jump.gif

Congratulations on a successful maiden voyage, now its time to have fun with it.

On a side note, this gotta be some sort of record.... boat project from initial purchase to seaworthy in only 11 pages. nice work.

LOL!!!!! Make no mistake................it is FARRRRRRRR from being done. The boat is not even completely put back together yet. I just wanted to do a mechanical and performance shake down run before I went much further with it. I still have a ton of work to do on it and a bunch of parts laying around that still need to be put on. I am trying to decide if I should do the cosmetic make over now or just use it ugly and beat up for this summer and start back on it over the winter.

Thanks John, it has come a long way but actually it is still a little sloppy and dirty cause I still have a few things left to do in there. When I am done I will clean it up much better. :smile30:

Well that's a choice you only can make,  work on boat all summer and miss fun in the sun, and be wet and wild or start over in the winter,  Let us know how it works out for ya think.gif

WTH is it with uphoulstery guys!!!!!  :smile15: I sent the two buckets from the Glastron off to be redone going on five months ago. Called him about a month and a half ago to let him know I would be needing them back pretty soon. He said no problem and that was the last time he answered his phone. I have left five messages for him to call me in the last two weeks and I haven't heard anything. I just want to pick them up now and take them somewhere else if he isn't going to do them so I can use my boat this summer. It is ready to go mechanically but he is holding my seats hostage and won't even tell me what is going on!!!  If I knew where he lived I would be knocking on his door but I can't even do that. The uphoulstery guys I have run into recently are worse then dealing with them damn painters!!!!!  :smile15:

I just don't understand the mentality of people that do their customers like that. I had already sent him a bunch of customers and had a bunch more to send him but I can't recommend someone that will do people like this, no matter how good they are. Being in the industry already, I was trying to hook him up. Oh well. whatever.gif
