Cool , I will probably be taking the jet skis back over there before too long . I am waiting for the boss to get the insurance stuff figured out , and then they need to go back . Maybe I  will get to see it while it's over there . Be sure to bring him a cover for it while he has it though , he has more work than shop space .

Anybody know any fiberglass dudes that can do stringers and do a smooth floor? NTW fiberglass is pissing me off. Been there since 8-12, sitting outside and not a damn thing done to it  :smile18: I have money and for some reason I cant get anything done on my shi#  Gonna call today and proably go pick it up tomorrow. Guess its gonna go on the back burner again  :undecided:

That sux. I personally really don't know of anybody that could do it & be trustworthy. You may get with Randall, he always seems to be happy with the guy that does his fiberglass work. Think he had the stringers done in his Liberator. I know thats kind of a drive for you though.

I will be in the same boat, no pun intended, should I ever decide to get my engine rails redone. The guy here in town, seemed to have done a great job on the transom replacement, but after dropping the ball with my engine rails, I seriously doubt he'll get any more of my money...

Is Waco too far for you?

I know what you mean about the dipping, I've been putting $$$ for a new set of headers. Caught myself dipping into it more than I would have liked, especially over Christmas-time, lol.... If I would have left the envelope alone, I probably would have them already.

As far as anybody else to take it to, you also may try hittin up J.J. I'm sure he would know somebody good. :smile15:

Gonna give them a call around 9 today, if there not gonna work on it, gonna tell them will pick it up tomorrow. Put the boat on the back burner untill the model a is done and do my own stringers.Might be better off. Still got the Omega  :smile15: Might just bolt on the flatty blower on the 521 and run some race gas, might get 75 out of it  :smile23: :smile23:

If it is worth anything I have a guy in Corpus, pretty cheap does good work.
Cody 361-522-8767 I could talk with him today and get a rough price on the work. :smile15:
Will know after 9 this morning what going on, or I pull the plug on them. Then will let you know. Go ahead and ask though. Look at the picks of my boat on this thread. Will need stringers, front kick board, transom, might not have to be changed.Just gring it smooth and reglass. Want the floors gel coated blue. Since this a flatty the floors are exposed and need to be be smooth before gel go on. No sloppy glass exposed.Alot of boats I have seen with stringers changed are rough and you seee the glass exposed.

He is working on mine this weekend. I just called him and he needs to see some pic to give you a price. No problem with the glass, but you would have to pick the blue or give him something to match. :smile15:
Sent ya a P.M.  :smile15:

Pro53, I wanna see pics of that badass truck you got. And I know thats not a roadster, what is it? Do you do all your own body work and paint jobs? I got an old 5.0 that I bought when i was 16 thats now in storage. Engine is strong(used to live at baytown raceway) interior is good, but the body needs some work, it was either fix it up or get the new jet boat. ha. I wanna do the stang right, so I'd figure i would wait. Any shops you like in Houston who do good jobs for a fare price?

Go to my Gallery, theres picks in there of it.I do all my own work, have tried other people and it always never worked out for me. I know some shops that do awesome work but high. I dont know anybody that paints cheap unless you end up with a cheap job. This year will be doing body work and paint on my model a and will post picks and show everybody painting isnt that hard, its all the prep that makes a paint job, and also the color sanding and buffing.Always check and ask for pics and references before setting on anybody to paint your car.I used to beat up on alot of 5.0's with my 67 mustang in High School
